Delegates to Convention |  | | DELEGATE: DAVID S. IVILL David Ivill is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP. As the partner-in-charge of the Health Industry Advisory practice in New York, David's practice focuses on statutory and regulatory issues affecting the provision of health care services, particularly with respect to New York State. His practice includes counseling with respect to operational and management issues, mergers and acquisitions, and fraud and abuse, issues, among other things. He represents a range of for-profit and not-for-profit health care providers, including hospitals, physicians and home health care agencies. He counsels privately held and publicly traded entities involved in the health care space. Prior to practicing law, David was a podiatric surgeon specializing in foot and ankle reconstruction with a subspecialty in oteomyelitis of the lower extremity. David received his B.S. from Westminster College, with honors, and his podiatric medical degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Joseph s Hospital in Philadelphia and his AO Fellowship in Ravensburg, Germany. David received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law. David and his family divide their time between homes in New York City and Washington, CT.
ALTERNATE DELEGATE: JOAN M. BEATTIE Joan Beattie lives in Warren with her two dogs, a golden retriever and a standard poodle. She retired as head of the English Department at Kent School but continues as the editor of the Kent Quarterly. At St. John's she serves as a chalicist and lay reader. She is also a licensed Lay Eucharistic Minister.
